The Liquid Image uses state-of-the-art graphics computers and software to make our incredible digital collages.

But the real secret to the fantasic quality of a Liquid Image is our artists.

Unlike novelty stores that do quickie, "automated" composites, the Liquid Image is staffed with highly trained artists who lavish their skills on each image so that every Liquid Image is a masterpiece worthy of framing.

It's not uncommon for a Liquid Image to take an hour or more of careful blending, color correction, and texture filtering before it's ready to show to our art director.

Usually, it gets sent back for revisions (sometimes several times) before it meets our exacting standards.

 Printing a Liquid Image

Then, we use the world's best digital printers to produce gallery quality prints of your image as large or small as you want.

That's why Liquid Images are so great!

And satisfaction is guaranteed!

Two Ways to Get Your Picture

To make a Liquid Image, we can work from a snapshot like the one of the woman on the left, or we can photograph you in front of our bluescreen in our studio in Manhattan (see below).

Liquid Images made from snapshots are the world's most fantastic surprise presents! People fall off their chairs laughing when they get them! Click here for some more examples.

You can send us snapshots through the mail (or scan them and email them to us at mail@theliquidimage.com as JPEG files) if you can't get to our studio.

We recommend sending us several photos of each person being put into a Liquid Image, so we can pick the best one.

Look for clear, sharp detailed snapshots, preferably taken from a similar angle to the picture we'll be putting the snapshot into.

If you can make it to our Manhattan bluescreen studio, we'll photograph you with a digital camera, carefully matching the light and angle of the picture you're being put into.

We'll take up to 10 shots of you and show them to you on a large preview screen so you can pick the perfect one.

See our prices page for information on costs.
